Camp
Is Camping just a part of a more important objective? Not in my opinion; sometimes one needs time away from central heat and Wi-Fi. Campfires, two-burner stoves, and beverages are in place when camping for camping's sake. When camping, because of objectives like traverse in snowy mountains or a climb, more care must be taken to limit the weight, then bivouac bags and ultra-light stoves are needed to keep weight down. I have been snow/van/tent camping since 80's some of my gear is old, but I try to use it to the end before causing an environmental load with new equipment. I will update the gear when needed and utilize what I have. I will update my blog and YouTube channel when I get new gear. I hope you can get good tips and entertainment for my camping/gear experiences.
Coming from northern Finland, winter camping is one of my favorite things to do! If you would like to hire me for mountain navigation, camping, or expedition prep course, you can do so via colorado Mountain School!
